PetroLiance^® Expands Medallion Plus^® Antifreeze and Industrial Heat Transfer Product Lines

PetroLiance^® is pleased to announce an expansion of the Medallion Plus^® line of products throughout its service area with the introduction of Medallion PlusGuard Antifreeze and Medallion PlusTherm heat transfer products.

Northern Illinois operations and customers have had significant success and great performance with these product lines. PetroLiance^® will be installing bulk storage capabilities at each of its regional centers, and will begin producing de-ionized water suitable for creating dilute antifreeze as needed. The product line is currently available in gallon jugs, 55 gallon drums and bulk.

PetroLiance^® will continue to offer the Mobil-branded antifreeze products for its national account customers, and for those customers who are interested in the advanced performance characteristics and brand-name value of these products.

Medallion PlusGuard products are ethylene glycol based. They include:

Medallion PlusGuard Universal Antifreeze/Coolant – a conventional, green “universal” automotive and heavy-duty antifreeze. Its low-silicate and phosphate-free formula is perfect for conventional antifreeze applications.

Medallion PlusGuard Heavy Duty SCA Antifreeze/Coolant – heavy duty, fully formulated low-silicate and phosphate-free formula designed for diesel engines, especially for those with “wet-sleeve” liners. Compatible with DCA-4 or SCA treated water filters.

Medallion PlusGuard Global Automotive Antifreeze/Coolant – an automotive or light-duty truck antifreeze suitable for topping up or replacing any type or any color of automotive antifreeze. This “hybrid technology” product is a perfect fit for automobile dealers, and for mixed and municipal fleets that require conventional and “special” coolants like Dexcool^® and Ford GO-5 coolants. This product is an ‘extended life’ product suitable for use for up to five years or 150,000 miles.

Medallion PlusGuard Heavy Duty ELC Antifreeze/Coolant – heavy-duty, nitrited, organic-acid technology (NOAT) antifreeze for diesel engines. When properly maintained, this product is suitable for use in heavy duty engines for up to 6,000 hours or 300,000 miles. It can be treated with a booster and be further extended to 600,000 miles of service. Do not use with DCA-4 or SCA treated water filters.
