Dabei will ich gar nicht soo sehr in's Detail gehen. you dont need to, I recommend it not for continuity reasons (as all the campaigns are independent of eachother except for EEs last two being linked) but ti ease into the mechanics, each game builds off the last and there are a few small unit and mechanic changes but in a way they almost play like game sized expansion packs (or more so like nesting dolls) that each add both more content as well as mechanics and refinements, I'd play EE, ALB then red dragon to ease yourself into things but be aware there are changes both mechanical and gameplay wise you do need to adjust for (biggest is the deck system in ER vs ALB, ALB and RD are also different but not as much) but the good think is controls and UI both support legacy versions fully backwards comparable (someone also was working on a "forward comparable" UI mod but I have not heard about it in a while, might have been released or scrapped or sti in the works) the biggest changes are decks are more restrictive but more modifiable in ALB and slightly more in RD, the addition of aircraft and anfibious functionality and new weapon types like SEAD and Cluster munitions in ALB and the addition of Naval and futher advancements in RD (telinirty weapons on ships (not ones controlled by the 3 on off buttons that also have unlimited ammo) and if I recall being able to resupply smaller supply units off larger ones, dasy chain style (dont recall if this was added in ALB first or even was in from EE but I'm pretty sure it was added in RD) also one thing, a lot of units are added but some are fully re rolled (the rocket and minigun UH-1s of the US are moved to canada and ANZAC as gunships, LAVs are FSVs and not transports, recon transports were added midway through RD as a new feature, mountaineers were reclassified as light rifleman and cav scouts (light rifleman 90 are a new unit that kind of fills an upgrades mountaineer role) the US loses its M113s with recoiless rifles but Canada and South Korea get them (I miss them for their autonomy and anfibious nature but you get the ontos as a firepower upgrade (lower autonomy) and can use the Sheridan as a slightly more expensive and better armed and armored alternative), theres several other minor ones that escape me but keep an eye out (and feel free to share to refresh my memory and also help other new players).
